PRIVACY POLICY.

Your data belongs to you. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it across the PROLE training app, website, and shop.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT.

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of our services, and limited information from third-party sources.

Information You Provide

  • Account data — name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Profile data — training preferences, equipment availability, and fitness goals you configure in the app.
  • Purchase data — billing address, shipping address, and payment information when you buy from our shop. Payment processing is handled by Shopify and Stripe; we never store full card numbers.
  • Communications — messages you send through our contact form or support channels.

Information Generated Through Use

  • Workout data — session logs, completed exercises, sets, reps, weights, and RPE ratings.
  • Device information — device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Usage analytics — feature usage patterns, screen views, and crash reports (if you opt in).

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the PROLE training app and website.
  • Process purchases and deliver products from the PROLE shop.
  • Personalize your training experience based on equipment, goals, and progress.
  • Send service communications (account verification, purchase confirmations, program updates).
  • Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

INFORMATION SHARING.

We share your information only in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — We use third-party services to operate our platform (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics). These providers access data only as needed to perform their services and are bound by contractual obligations.
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

DATA SECURITY.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. Our database infrastructure is hosted on Supabase with row-level security policies.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you discover a vulnerability, please contact us at security@prole.app.

YOUR RIGHTS.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Data portability — Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Opt out — Disable analytics and crash reports from the app settings at any time.

COOKIES & TRACKING.

Our website uses minimal cookies necessary for functionality:

  • Essential cookies — Required for shopping cart, checkout, and authentication.
  • Analytics cookies — Anonymous usage data to improve the site experience. You can disable these via your browser settings.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not participate in cross-site tracking or retargeting networks.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES.

Our platform integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — Database hosting and authentication.
  • Shopify — E-commerce and payment processing for the PROLE shop.
  • Apple / Google — In-app subscription processing via App Store and Google Play.
  • RevenueCat — Subscription management and analytics.
  • Vercel — Website hosting and deployment.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY.

PROLE is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@prole.app and we will promptly delete it.

DATA RETENTION.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Workout history and session data are retained to support your training progress tracking.

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., purchase records for tax compliance).

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice in the app. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
